Hobby Lobby has longer feathers if you have one in your area of the country.

I remember how scary it was doing my first craft show. Think of it as an opportunity to gather information. Take a mixture of price levels to see what draws people to your booth. Display one of your more expensive quilts to catch the eye, people may not be able to afford it, but if it impresses them they will check out your booth for something more in their price range. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

15  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / Re: This is kinda a silly questuin - Where to get a table for a craft fair? on: November 08, 2011 05:14:26 AM
Some of the smaller fairs I have done do offer tables, but with most you have to bring your own. Others offer tables but you need to rent them, so it costs you more if you don't bring your own. Always good to own some.

I've used Aleene's paper glaze for sealing my bottlecaps. I don't know how waterproof they are, resin would be best for that. I've heard of people sealing their images with Modge Podge or even clear packing tape before using a glaze.

Here is a picture of one of my bottlecaps where I used the Aleene's paper glaze:

You can check Sam's Club, Costco, or Walmart for 6 foot tables. I've even seen some now that fold in half for better storage. These are sturdier than the smaller camping type tables that some people use.

Very cute elephant. I think the pink/gray stone looks like dyed howlite. It's usually white with gray veining, but is dyed many different colors including blue to mimic turquoise.
