2  Color Wheel Fabric Wreath in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by aluna86jh on: December 08, 2008 04:35:43 PM
I seen a wreath that caught my eye and had a tutorial and I thought I could make something like that. Except that I decided to make mine a color wheel as well.
The inspiration was: http://lindamade.wordpress.com/2008/11/28/the-shop-is-open/

3  Winnie the Pooh Blanket (a bit image heavy) in Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies by aluna86jh on: October 24, 2008 09:41:35 AM
The other gift I made for my cousins baby shower was this Winnie the Pooh blanket.

I didn't have to quilt it but I thought adding a little embroidery and cross stitch here and there would give it some pizazz.

I hope she likes it and thanks for looking!

My cousin is having her first baby (a boy!) and I wanted to make her a few items for the baby shower.  Along with a baby blanket that isn't done yet, I made her some stenciled onesies.

Turtle Onesie

Robot Onesie

Dino Onesie

Car Onesie

5  MY dogs quilt (A bit image heavy) in Quilting: Completed Projects by aluna86jh on: September 13, 2008 02:32:21 PM
While browsing photos on flickr.com looking for some inspiration I came across this doll quilt. http://www.flickr.com/photos/uklassinus/2443246412/.  An idea came to me to make a lap quilt but with my dogs on them.  So a couple of months later I finally finished my little labor of love.

I ripped out what I quilted many times, finally decided to go with simple for the most part.  I'm proud of it and I'm glad I did.

6  Blues and Yellows Zig Zag Quilt in Quilting: Completed Projects by aluna86jh on: July 31, 2008 08:05:27 AM
This is my first lap sized quilt and the 3rd quilt I've done.  I like it, well most of it.  I like it enough to actually post it to all of you, who are way better.  Sorry my dog is laying on a part of it.  She looked cozy, so I didn't want to move her.

I've seen people put strip of color on the backing and I like it, but no one else seems too.  I know it's not lined up correctly but what do you think of the backing?

Thanks for looking!

Last Xmas my friend and I decided to make our own tree but we did it out of balloons.  So behold our first attempt at a balloon tree.
