Hey! 

I'm not entirely sure which board this should really go on - I didn't make it, and I didn't exactly recon it either... well whatever!

This was just a plain T-shirt to begin with, which only cost about £1.50.... then I hand painted it with fabric paints, and voila!! 



I know it's not entirely anatomically correct (my liver should be a lot bigger than that, and so should my lungs!) but I tried my best! I'm not much of an artist!




There weren't really many photos I could take of it, as the back is just plain.... I don't have enough patience to do both sides! Here's the clearest pic...



Not sure if I should do anything else to it, but I love it!!  Any ideas? Tell me what you think,

This was inspired by a recon in Generation T - it's not exactly the same, I added my own flair to it! 

I just chopped from under one sleeve to the opposite side of the neckline, cut three straps from the scrap fabric then sewed them over the bare shoulder. I sewed a big button on to cover the stitching. Easy peasy!! Only took me about 20 minutes. I was gonna put a dart in to make it fit better, but I got lazy and couldn't be bothered!!








I really love this T-shirt! What does everyone think? 

I suppose you could argue that this is a recon since I used two pillowcases to make it, but I basically just chopped all the seams off and used the fabric, so I'm quite proud of myself haha! I didn't use pattern or any kind of instructions, and I didn't measure anything... just totally winged it!

It's a bit crumpled because I haven't ironed it..... 

Was easier than I thought, but it didn't fit too well, hence why I added eyelets and laced them up with ribbon!

Hey! I know it's been done a million times before,  but my boyfriend had some old jeans that were EXTREMELY dishevelled at the bottoms hehe  , so I decided to attack them with my scissors and made a mini skirt!

Easy peasy!! And a good use for old jeans... I had to chop the waistband off though because myboyfriend is skinnier than me haha! 
It's really comfy!

Hello everyone! I think this is the second item I've made from scratch that is actually wearable, most of my other projects have been recons...

Anyway, I LOVE sequin fabric, and just had to make a disco-diva style skirt!  I was going to go for a normal circle skirt, but couldn't be bothered with the measuring and marking out and wonky hems etc! So I left the corners square to give a floaty, hippy style to it!!







When I made it, for some reason the waist was WAAAAYYYY too big even though I measured it very carefully! (this always happens to me...  ) so I had to fold it over in the front to give the ruffly effect down the left leg, and add velcro to hold it. It looked a bit crappy though so I sewed a bow on to cover it a bit!

Hi again!

Turned yet another of my boyfriend's old T-shirts... 



...which was huge on me but had a really cool print on the front, into this.....







Again, I used a tutorial on OhMyStars, I love that website!!!  It's a bit messy looking because my sewing machine hates me and I'm very impatient,  but I kind of think it suits that look! What do you think?

Hello again!

My boyfriend gave me an O'Neill T-shirt that he never wore because it was too small. I forgot to take 'before' pics, but it was really tight around the neck and sleeves, even though it was a man's t-shirt!

Anyway, I followed a tutorial from ohmystars and turned it into this triangle halter top!
(I kind of misjudged the size of my boobs because I couldn't be bothered to measure them,  so it is far too indecent to wear on its own.... OK with a T-shirt underneath though!)

Not amazing I know, but it was incredibly quick and simple, so better than throwing the T-shirt away!

Hey everyone!

This is my second 'recon', although I hardly think you could call it that! It was soooo simple.... 

I bought this nightie for £2 in the sale aaaaaaaages ago, but I never wore it because nighties annoy me!





Then all I did was sew in the sides to make it more fitted so I could wear it as a summery dress! Easy peasy! My mum says it still looks like a nightie... what do you reckon? Do you think it's OK to wear as a dress? 



Here it is with a belt and leggings to see if it looks more wearable!

EDIT

I decided it DID look a bit too nightie-ish, and since I didn't really even change it, I thought I should make it a bit more 'me'....
so, I made it strapless by sewing in elastic, and then ruched the front. This all made it a lot shorter, which I like hahaa!
Then I added yellow straps and three little buttons, and a flower applique I made a while ago for a dress that didn't work out!
What do you think? Improvement?

Hello!

I want to be a doctor, and I'm going to uni this year to do medicine, so I was inspired to make a medicine-themed charm bracelet!! I just printed out medical pictures from the internet, and laminated them. Then I poked holes in them with a pin and tied them to a bracelet I had lying around with cotton. It isn't very secure, so I'll have to be careful with it!!

Hello everyone!

I'm sooo excited that I finally got round to making a tutu. I bought some yellow and pink net off eBay (really cheap!) and made this...




Here's the back...



And the side (makes my bum look a bit big, oh well!)



And me posing!!


I just sewed the layers together (alternating the colours), then cut each layer into strips, and tied the strips together. i didn't knot the top layer though (makes it look neater), and I cut this layer into wider strips). Then I sewed a strip of T-shirt fabric around the top for a waistband - easy!

I LOVE this tutu;  I feel like dancing around when I wear it!   What do you think?
