11  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: We gave a sculpture a pox! new Update! on: June 24, 2008 11:12:39 AM
It would have been great to have been hiding out to get pictures of the people who had to take them down.  I would imagine that you would catch some pretty awesome facial expressions from it.  Probably got a few laughs out of it which made their day better from some of the stuff they normally have to scrap off sculptures=)  Very cute idea.

13  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Cosplay: Lolita-style Chell from PORTAL (w/hair falls!) IMG HEAVY on: June 01, 2008 09:17:46 PM
I haven't played the game, but I live and hang out with alot of people who do.  When my husband opened up his gaming store and our new friends caught wind of my craftiness, I got commissioned to make a Companion Cube.  Now, I hadn't a clue what it was until I started researching it, but just for the fun of it I thought I would throw in a picture for you!  I love your costume by the way=)  You did a fantastic job.

This sucker was big too, wound up being some 9 or 10 inches wide and tall
14  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Post Photos of Your Tattoos! on: June 01, 2008 09:14:37 PM

Sorry about the shirt straps in the way but most of it can be seen through them=)  I hope mine fits in well with the rest of the thread.  I love all of the work I have seen you guys post!  I cannot wait to get mine added to again.  I have plans for some victorianesque clock faces to go in probably on my shoulders.

The symbol on the left is a norse symbol that represents how a problem is always linked to it's solution, and those two can never be broken apart.  The filigree was hand drawn by the artist.  And of course the poor washed out fairy is a on the right side is a much older tattoo that wasn't done very well but I still love her.  She just needs some new color=)
15  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Your Prom Dress Is Made Out... OF WHAT?!? on: June 01, 2008 09:11:57 PM
I definitely want to give you props for this.  I covered a pair of jeans in tabs once and it is not an easy process, but the dress is amazing!  And at least you had a prom you will never forget=)

Rockin job!  I have seen a few things on double knitting but I haven't yet added that to my how to's yet lol.  Seriously though, the scarf rocks.  I did an intricate celtic cabled scarf for my grandfather for christmas so I know exactly where you are coming from with the whole wanting to cry part lol.
