1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Everyone Loves Cake! My new confections! on: February 06, 2009 09:38:46 AM

This is just a couple of my new sweets, I'm working on more flavors and I just learned a new texture technique that I can't wait to try out! Smiley

I adore making these little cakes! I can turn them out in no time now! It is so much fun and I'm so glad I found that awesome tut that I shared a while back.

I noticed how many people are making little cakes now and it's just awesome! They all look so great and we seriously need more cake in the world!!

Feedback is welcome, as always! Smiley

Have a sweet day! ♥
2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Lemon and Strawberry fake cake! (new pic added on 5) on: October 24, 2008 10:49:02 AM
This is my first polymer clay project that I am proud of! I found an amazing tut because I was clueless on how to make the cool cake texture.

I'm going to make a tiny platter for it and attach the whole thing to a necklace for my lil sister's 17th Birthday!

What do you think of my first try?

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Rubber Ducky and a HUGE sweet cupcake! on: September 25, 2008 11:03:58 AM
I have a need for bright colors lately!
I have never worked with poly clay before and I sort of cheated by pushing it into a mold! I see a lot of people who can make awesome little things from clay, I'm not quite there yet!
After I baked my duck, I dipped him in resin for a serious shine!

I made this giant cupcake pendant at the same time! I used a few different glitters and of course sprinkles. I added some pink cookie sugar to turn it pink!

I'm dying to make more clay projects but I need to stock up on some more colors before I go nuts!

Comments, suggestions? Always appreciated!!

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Birthday wallet on: August 22, 2008 10:52:56 AM
Ok, last year I made my sister a wallet for her birthday and she has used it for a whole year. Every time we go shopping together and she pulls out her wallet, cards fall out!! It was my first time making a wallet so it turned out less that perfect but she uses it anyway!
This year I decided to make her a wallet that works! This is the prototype I made for her wallet. Hers was made of a different fabric because I don't think skulls are her cup of tea!

Thanks for looking! Needless to say her cards and money don't fall out anymore!! Smiley
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Koi Pendant and Ring on: August 19, 2008 07:46:48 PM
Yay! I just got some chiyogami paper and decided I'd try sticking it in some resin!
Here is the result...

There are a couple things I would do differently next time but for now they are just fine!
Thanks for looking!
6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Very Cherry! on: August 19, 2008 07:21:38 PM
I made this wallet a couple weeks ago and I had to show it off a little! I made a tote out of the same cherry material a while back combined with some cool shimmery leopard.. I can't get enough of this Cherry Fabric right now!!

What do you guys think?

7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Mermaid and Chinese Coins on: July 30, 2008 02:35:11 PM
This first one is my most recent piece of jewelry!

It's resin, of course, with a awesome little Mexican Bingo mermaid and some shiny blue glitter.

Here's another of my favorites! I encased this plastic Chinese coin button with some red glitter and it turned out awesome!

I did the same with a pendant but I added a red tassel to it!

My sister took this one shortly after it was made!  Wink

Thank you for looking!!

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / A few odds and ends... on: June 19, 2008 04:09:24 PM
I just made these in the past couple days! I made a bunch more but they still need to be glossed up!

Thank you for looking! Feedback is welcome!
9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Bouncing Sock Monkeys! (lots of pics) on: June 18, 2008 11:48:32 AM
I made this last week for someone who loves monkeys! There isn't much of a monkey selection so she settled for sock monkeys! I really hope she likes it since she hasn't seen it yet but she has seen my other purses.
The handles gave me the most grief so I had to redo them but all in all I think it turned out OK!

Thanks for looking!
Feedback?
10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Cherry Blossom Branch on: June 05, 2008 01:02:15 PM
I just made these two days ago. I made one for my sister last year and she loved it to death and is constantly wearing it and getting compliments! So here are my newest ones!

Sorry about the dark pics! Who knew it would be cloudy in AZ today?!

Thanks for looking everyone!!
