1  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Beef Jerky Costume on: November 04, 2010 01:52:26 PM
So my coworkers and I are all incredibly obsessed with this AMAZING beef jerky, called Mingua Beef Jerky

So I thought it would be hilarious to use that as my Halloween costume at work for the contest. Unfortunately I decided the evening before the contest! Luckily my sister was able to throw something together for me Smiley It went over pretty well, but the contest was rigged, like the winners were decided before they even came to take our pictures! Anyways, hope you like it!

2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Fab table makeover on: February 29, 2008 02:32:20 PM
We recently were doing projects around my sisters house while she was on vacation and came across the PERFECT fabric for dining room benches, so we decided to go ahead and add that to our (growing) to do list. Her living room is lime green, and her kitchen and dining area is "aruba blue" so this works well! Actually didnt take much time at all to completely turn the set around. Sorry for the before pic, we forgot to take one so had to scrounge up the only one we could find!

3  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Pimp My High Chair (img heavy) on: February 29, 2008 02:05:35 PM
While my sister and niece were on vacation recently we undertook a number of projects to surprise them with when they came home. Mom decided it was time to pimp my nieces high chair. Everyone who has seen it LOVES it and have all requested one of their own! Looks like mom may have gotten into more than she bargained for!

4  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Girls Surprise Bedroom Makeover: Orange with Butterfly Themed Decorations on: February 29, 2008 01:54:56 PM
My niece turned two this month and for her birthday, she and her mom went to florida to see my nieces dad.  A couple weeks before they left I decided it would be a great present to completely decorate her bedroom while they were gone. It was just a blank canvas before, and here are the pics)) Enjoy Smiley

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / Adhesive Advice on: May 17, 2007 09:16:30 PM
Hey, basically I am in the beginning stages of planning a big, and elaborate party to be set in 18th century France, Marie Antoinette style, if you will. I have found some very appropriately shaped shoes, but they are a bit plain to work for the time period known for extravagant and elaborate fashions. So my thoughts are to buy a couple pairs of the shoes and experiment with different designs, maybe recover one pair with a better fabric, but what I would really love to do is plan out a design on the shoes and them bead them, which is where yalls expertise comes into play. My question is basically what kind of adhesive would be best suited for a project of this sort, that would be pretty durable and cost efficient as well?  Sorry for the lengthy explanation, and I look forward to hearing your ideas. Thanks!
