1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / Re: small bust, big everything else. Need help.. on: July 13, 2009 09:24:19 PM
I know it's been said before, but a great fitting bra will do wonders for any woman! Try figleaves.com - they sell sizes that I can't find anywhere else (thank you 34G chest!).

I really like the your infinity dress! I've had the fabric to make one for years now, but have been hesitant to make it out of the fear that I don't have the right body type for it. You have inspired me to give it a go! Smiley

The dress looks great on you! I have a similar body type and can't wait to try my own. Smiley

I'm in! I'm in!

One of my new years goals (screw resolutions, its all about goals!) is to give as many handmade gifts as possible next Christmas. This is the perfect way to help keep the motivation going.

Three cheers for handmade gifts!

7  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Searching for beginners, but pretty baby afghan. on: December 15, 2008 04:55:13 PM
I just taught a friend of mine to crochet a baby blanket, and I found that most blanket patterns labeled easy were still too hard as a first project. She ended up making a blanket alternating between rows of double crochet and single crochet. Oh, and stay away from most baby yarn as the texture is hard to work with for beginners. Cotton ease was the best to work with and shows the alternating stitch pattern nicely.  Smiley
