1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Malabrigo, same dyelot, different colours - is there anything I can do? on: May 03, 2007 06:08:05 PM
I'm semi-new to craftster (that is, I've been reading it for a long time, but just started posting) and I was hoping to get some advice on a problem I've got.

I'm knitting a cardigan from Malabrigo, I happily finished my first ball and joined my second. When I had knitted almost 10 cm with the second, I realized it was a different shade of green (as seen here). All of my skeins are the same colour, from the same dyelot, but obviously there's a bit difference.

I know I should probably have been knitting from two balls at once, but I was lazy, is there anything I can do? Should I suck it up and just continue knitting? Rip it all out and start over? Can I undo some of it and use some secret knitting trick I'm as of yet unaware off to disguise it? Looking at my other skeins, they seem closer to the darker colour (which I actually prefer), although they also vary quite a bit.

Thanks!
