Kochopia - love your hexagons!

I haven't been here in ages, mostly due to busy-ness. I've got a granny bag that's almost finished - I left it off in the middle of attaching handles - and I picked it up the other day intending to FINALLY finish it and I can't find my crochet hook!! And I can't remember what size it was either. I vaguely remember borrowing it from the project to pick up a dropped knitting stitch... obviously I didn't return it and now I have no idea what I did with it. Arrrrgh!

I'm always kind of surprised when standard patterns and store bought clothes fit my frenchie because they're kinda funny shaped dogs, ya know?.  Everything looks like a muscle shirt Wink

This is the issue I have too - I've bought jackets for my Frenchie without having her with me and then they won't close over her barrel chest. I squee'd when I saw your post. Jordy is just adorable in his new sweater!

Still weaving in ends from my September project  Undecided

Once life settles down a bit I can get back to granny-ing. I think October may be a write off though.

One more square to go! I'm gonna crank the last one out today and then begins the long and tedious process of weaving in the ends. Bleh.

Looks good mommycrochets - I agree with your DH that it doesn't look ugly, far from it. I love the pink/black and blue/orange next to each other.

I re-counted my squares (I'd missed one) and finished another one yesterday so I have 10 now. Only 3 more to make the bag and so I will definitely have enough green, yay! I'm not going to follow the Inga bag joining instructions because I want a more flattish shape.

I haven't posted on Craftster in ages, but I've been happily lurking along with Granny-A-Day for the last few months! I love seeing the progress on everyone's projects. I was waiting to post until I found my camera cord and lo and behold, it finally turned up!

I don't do anywhere near a granny a day... one a week if I'm lucky. Once I finish this project I may try to do one a day with smaller squares. I actually have 8 now. It's a stashbusting project and I was hoping to have enough for an Inga bag, but I'm almost out of green! I think I might have enough to complete the squares, if I do the joining and handles in a different colour. Otherwise I'll either make a smaller bag than planned, or do half the squares in a different colour scheme. I'll have to see what's in my stash. I am determined not to spend any money on this project!

Very nice! What kind of soap did you use? I tried this once but the soap I used had a fragrance I didn't care for, so I didn't end up using it much Sad
