10641  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Ongoing Offer What You Have Swap Discussion on: February 07, 2008 08:59:37 PM
I had a chest xray yesterday and I do have pneumonia, which really sucks, but at least I'm not going to be in the hospital with it this time. I'm trying to get online once a day to get things updated. Please pm me if something doesn't look right, and thank you for all the offers of help, I will definitely take you guys up on them if I need to!

And thanks for everyone staying on top of their posts and adding new things/reducing prices when thigns are moving slowly. I think a lot of people are full on swaps and can't join til later in the month.

FYI~I am super sick, so I might not be such a good organizer for the next couple days. I'm hoping to not end up in the hospital, but that's a possibility. I will try to respond and update as often as possible!

Here's a couple pics of what I sent KittyVegas. The booties are crocheted, I can't knit at all.  Grin

It must be inches (but in two of the images you also see a cm scale) since it's divided into 1/8 and not 1/10.

Thanks! I was trying to count and my eyesight is just poo!

Ooh I wish I had an extra door to put one of those on! But I have 4 of the shoe ones, and that uses all my doors!

Heya purpleone~I was trying to figure out the size of the cabs in your list...is that ruler in inches or centimeters?
10647  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Ongoing-offer what you have (US) Swap? on: February 03, 2008 09:06:26 PM
Just my $.02, but for me, I love the offer what you have exactly because I can offer things that are light and cheap to ship. I just shipped a super light package to England, which I think is the most expenisve place to ship, for under $3.  I'm prejudiced because I'm organizing this month, but I just thought I would mention that it's been one of the cheapest shipping swaps for me ever!  Right now, we only have 1 European and the rest are US.  But yeah, less shipping is always good, I've cut way back on swaps because I spend way too much on shipping, so I'm trying to get around that by picking swaps where I can ship lighter things.
10648  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Weekend swap - Feb 8? on: February 03, 2008 09:01:25 PM
I think it would be fun! I keep missing out on these. Maybe push it back another week since nobody has responded yet? Themed would be fun, but general's good too! I *hope* to finish up something in time, I'm full up on swaps right now  Cry

This sounds really fun, but I'm full up on swaps right now  Cry  I just have one of those ugly plastic functional dust covers on my machine.
10650  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Rebatching on: February 03, 2008 08:40:23 PM
What size dish would you reccomend using for the oven method for rebatching? I've read up on the process, and they all mention a lidded dish that is enamel coated or glass, but not really a recommended size for it. I'm ready to run with rebatching, but want to have a proper dish to use. TIA for any information!

I don't think the size matters too much. If you use a bigger dish where the soap doesn't come up as high, it will melt faster than if you had a really thick amount, which can be a good thing.

Here's a link to directions I posted for microwave re-batch, it's the only way I will do it after experimenting with different methods.
