241  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Re: Transferring image onto large tote on: August 18, 2004 04:42:18 PM
this probably isnt something you could do easily.  you can buy iron ons in pretty huge sizes, but these are meant for heat press application, not household ironing.  you could maybe try printing your picture on a couple of sheets of iron on paper and taping them together but you could get gaps this way.

243  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: tattoo on: August 18, 2004 10:30:35 AM
wow, there are alot of responses here.  i happen to work at a tattoo shop and we follow the apt (assoc. of pro tattooists) guide lines, which were developed by doctors and dermatoligists and tattooist worlwide.  some of the things that people have suggested are downright dangerous to put on a tattoo.  if you have scabs, and you do, use ONLY a plain franrance free lotion like curel, lubriderm, or eucerin.  NOTHING gooey or sticky at all.  good luck!

246  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: Clothing Supplier Needed! on: August 14, 2004 03:00:17 PM

blankshirts.com

t-shirtwholesaler.com

shirtdistributor.co m

these are the cheapest i could find for black and colored shirts especially, most of them you dont have to buy a whole case, and some have no minimum orders. you may be able to find lower prices for white shirts if you look around. hope this helps.
247  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / Re: accepting credit cards at craft fairs? on: August 14, 2004 01:14:06 PM
you have to find a company that can supply you with a portable machine, or you can skip the machine and do it the old fashioned way:  find a processing company and get some sales slips, fill 'em out and call in the info to the voice center the processing company provides for you.  but be warned, if you charge very small amounts (like less than $10) it may actually end up costing you more money than you're charging.  that's my experience with credit card processing companies.  generally these companies give you better rates than banks do.  you also need a business checking account to accept credit cards, so if you don't already have one you'll hafta get one.
