232  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Screen Printing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Cheapest and Easiest way to Silkscreen on: September 01, 2004 03:36:39 PM
i tried it as well and didnt get crisp lines either.  the only success i've has with screen printing is the photo emulsion method.
233  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: chocolate soap? on: September 01, 2004 02:39:14 PM
i'm pretty sure adding cocoa powder to any melt and pour would do it.
234  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: Ribbon Belts on: September 01, 2004 09:47:25 AM
personally i like 2 layer belts, they tend to be stronger, you know, so they actually function as a belt.  i always found it difficult to sew 2 ribbons together perfectly so i use stitch witchery(which i buy at walmart for $.98 a yard!), it's super easy and adds a little stiffness to the belt, which i prefer.

236  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Re: What's a good sewing machine on: August 31, 2004 05:12:07 PM
i bought my first sewing machine at walmart for $80, and it worked out great for developing my sewing skills.  just stay away from anything mini, it's a waste of money.  i didnt buy an expensive machine to begin with just in  case i decided i hated sewing!  my suggestion would be to buy an inexpensive full-sized machine (i also made sure it was a name brand machine like brother, white, singer etc.), it worked for me.

239  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Best place to find comfy blank T-shirts? on: August 21, 2004 02:38:33 PM
i think http://www.t-shirtwholesaler.com/main_detail.asp?pg=detail&flush=1&ct=&sc=&id=04200&uid=47634953838212.4571527778-r&color=BLACK&cd=00#1 has the best shirts for your money.  you can get light weight 50/50 shirts which are pretty comfy.  and there's no minimum order, they just give you better discounts for larger quantities.
240  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Duck Tape Prom Outfits on: August 21, 2004 12:11:42 PM
most of those are made by sticking tape to a dress.  i was a bit disappointed when i found this out, i was hoping that they were 100% tape but they're not Sad
