Hmmmm...I wonder how well orange seeds would work.  I've been saving them for a while, although I had no idea what I'd do with them...

Wow! I'm impressed with both the note pad & your talent. This makes me want to head down to my grocery store & pickup a Monopoly game from it's toy section.

Actually, you can often find just the money for sale.  Or, you can download PDFs of the different denominations from Hasbro and print your own.  http://www.hasbro.com/monopoly/pl/page.treasurechest/dn/default.cfm

So pretty!  Using the bead behind the button is a very good idea.

You could also fold your own matchbook out of heavy cardstock or thin cardboard.

With a zippered top, that would be almost exactly what my next purse should be.
97  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re:Plastic Grocery Bag Crocheted Clutch on: March 15, 2004 06:19:54 AM
Hopefully within a month I can do pics...sorry....I almost didnt post cuz I knew I wouldn't be able to do pics.....  oh   and I did half dble crochet  too

I'm glad you did post, even without the pics - it gives me something to think about.  I need a laundry container, and I'm practically wading through plastic bags!

I have crocheted a bigggg tote bag out of bags to use as my laundry basket..  it's much easier to carry up and down the stairs.  I made 2 smaller ones too....  I used a size N hook.  For me...I like when you  cut the bags in loops and  knot them together.

I'd love to see a pic of that!

It's a gorgeous piece, it'll probably last a long time even under hard use, and it demonstrates wonderfully creative thinking.  I'm impressed!
