11  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Recycling Bag for the Storage Challenged Kitchen on: June 21, 2010 06:30:54 PM
What a great idea. Our recycling usually hangs from door handles in plastic bags until it's ready to go into the bin. I hate the way it looks, but it's better than it being on the counter. But this is a nice, cleaver way to hide it. I may just have to give this a try.

This is beautiful! The shower is absolutely amazing, but I think I like the detail in front of the tub a little more. Great job.

18  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / First Post - A rainbow of knots on: June 21, 2010 05:31:32 PM
Long time lurker, first time poster (so please be gentle with me Tongue).  I'm still learning to embroider, so I thought I would pick one stitch and practice the hell out of it.

Oh, and I got my inspiration from here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/wardi/2260466215/.

The end result? A bazillion rainbow knots on black felt. I loves it. Now to figure out where to hang it.

[Edit: Picture added. Yay!]

C&C welcome.
