- Has completed one swap successfully before signing up for multiple swaps at a time: YES
- Is not currently signed up for more than five swaps: YES
- Does not have any negative feedback: YES
- Participant has agreed that he/she is at least 13 years old: YES

Details of swap:
The idea is to make one tiny craft item.  It should be physically small (miniatures are encouraged) and should be something that you can craft with a high level of skill.  Even if it is a fairly simple/easy item for you to make, please embellish or perfect it so that it best represents your skill.  (For example, if you wish to make a coin purse, I encourage you to embroider, add beading, or take other steps to make it a really special piece.)

This is going to be a themed round. You will come up with 5 themes and your partner will choose one of those to craft around.

You will receive only one partner.  You may only send that partner ONE tiny craft - "extras" are not allowed in this swap.  All items should be 4"x4" or smaller.  The idea behind this swap is to give you a simple, low-pressure craft swap that won't stress you out or cost a lot to ship.

How do you know if your idea is "tiny?"  Examples:  A coin purse is tiny; a clutch purse is not.  A pair of earrings is tiny; a necklace, earrings, and bracelet set is not.  A trinket box is tiny; a pencil box is not.  An ATC (artist trading card) is tiny; a full-size drawing is not.  (If you're not sure if your idea qualifies as "tiny," ask me!)

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

4  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Vegas Wedding on: December 03, 2007 11:54:38 PM
My boyfriend and i have been talking the last few days about getting married before he is redeployed in Oct ( if it even happens). I planned on getting a smaller wedding with lots of diy together. We'll be on a pretty small budget plus it would have to be in the summer. It was getting really stressful finding places that still fit what we want.  I've had this recurring mini fantasy about just running off to vegas but after looking at endless pictures and reviews and packages, i love it. It turns out that the boy actually really likes it too but is worried about this just being a whim. It was at first, but this no longer feels like a whim. It feels like a plan. Soooo I'd still like it to be a little crafty at least so i need help from you lovely ladies. The only thing that comes to mind at the moment craftwise is invitations. Any other sneaky ways to craft are definitely welcome! Oh and most likely it will be just the two of us. Our families are invited but we're not sure they are going to come.

6  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / In Stitches Hanging Toiletry Bag MOST COMPLICATED PROJECT EVER on: November 13, 2007 08:57:32 PM
I spent the last four days hunched over my sewing machine and In Stitches and while it's not perfect, this is by far the most complicated thing i have ever made!!!!!!!!!! I've been squealing with glee all day at the thought of getting it done (this was before i even did the buttonhole)

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Firefly Fans I need your help!!! on: November 10, 2007 10:05:32 AM
A  month or so ago, I ran across where someone had knit Serenity. My boyfriend is utterly obsessed ( he freely admits to having a mancrush on Nathan Fillion and says he would be honored if I were to leave him and runaway with Nathan Fillion). This would make a perfect christmas present but I haven't a clue where the blog went. I've searched yahoo and googled it but nothing. Did anyone see this or know of some sort of pattern? I apreciate all your help!!!!

Details of swap:
The idea of this swap is to be low stress and fun. We will craft 3 small items. Whether you want them to be holiday related is something to discuss with your partners.

A few rules:

1.   Please post on this thread and the gallery thread. I will post announcements in the threads and need to be sure you all are reading them.

2.   Please put Mini Christmas Swap or something to that effect in the title of all PM's - don't send me a PM with no subject as I might miss it! Be Sure to PM the myself and your partner when you have sent your items and when you have received your items.
3.    A DC# is required for those sending with in the US. For those sending internationally, I will need a copy of your postal receipt using a scanner or camera.

5.   I'm hoping that no one will send late but, if closer to send out date, you know you are going to be late, you MUST inform me and your partner.

6. This is how I plan to give feedback: Great Swapper
If you send on time and follow guidelines:
If you send late (with a good reason) and communicated with myself and your partner : sent late with communication
If you send late but don't communicate and the package actually arrives at it's destination: Sent late without communication
If you flake (and I don't expect any flakers) :"Negative"

You have 3 weeks to craft so I don’t expect any flakers.

9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Crafting emergency!!!! Watercolor markers on bathroom tile? on: October 17, 2007 07:30:12 PM
My fiances flight home was just changed from saturday to first thing in the morning. I was planning on drawing on the bathroom tiles with kids bath crayons but i no longer have time to go get them. But i DO have watercolor markers! If i use these, will i be able to wash it off?? Watercolor seems to come off everything else so i would think so but i want to be sure before i start coloring. I'd really appreciate your thoughts on this!

Have any of you seen the Meet Your Meat video? I'm still trying to get up the nerve to watch it. Just the info on veganoutreach.org made me cry. Sad
