21  first clay projects! cupcake and icecream cake in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by bruisedpeach22 on: July 17, 2007 06:25:45 PM
The cupcake was my first project. I could get the rolled log to look right so i did it this way. Any tips on frosting using a log?
The cake I just did a little bit ago. I was going to make them earring but when i put the jump rings on, they are the perfect size for stitch markers.

please ignore all the debris on the cake slices, i had a horrendous time keeping them clean!

Carrieme, I'm so glad you liked everything! I hope the cupcake didn't get too smashed in transit.

23  Watermelon dot pillow (third ever sewing project!) in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by bruisedpeach22 on: July 04, 2007 02:46:12 PM
I originally got the fabric for a duffel bag but decided to make this instead. The curves were interesting to do but i think i fudged it pretty well ( though there are a couple wonky spots) Fortunately none of the really bad spots can be seen. If you see any way to make this better, please let me know.

Please ignore my very messy bed

24  Crazy Paisley Quilt in Quilting: Completed Projects by bruisedpeach22 on: June 23, 2007 11:38:48 AM
This quilt is a present from my mom so I obviously didn't make it, but I'm so excited about it that I just had to share it with everyone! My mom designed this quilt just for me, based on my request for something to match my favorite colors- pink , teal and chocolate. She just finished putting it all together this morning and isn't quilted yet.
