4  makeover for my dresser :-) in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by lc425 on: March 19, 2008 10:17:54 PM
so i never take before pics..
imagine this dresser painted white... but it was wooden before it was white and my cousin didnt sand it or prime it before she painted it so you could tell it was painted it had brush strokes....

ok.. so my boyfriend hated it .. and i finally gave in and we tried giving it away to 3 different ppl and they "didnt have room" (which was total lies)...after it sat in our dinning room for two weeks I decided it was a nice dresser with nice wooden drawers not that like card board stuff that breaks if you over fill so i got the idea to paint it ... so its now glossy black and has rainbow handles and it matches my room perfectly... no more piles of clothes everywhere!!! yay and my boyfriends jaw dropped to the floorwhen he seen it... he was surprized about how goos it looks and now he really likes it. Grin

the pics turned it alittle weird .. when i clean up my room more ill post a pic of my room with the dresser in it

6  Skinny jeans!!! new pics added in Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects by lc425 on: November 18, 2007 12:45:51 AM
ok i resized these jeans from flares and decided to go for the "skinny"  look cus of how good they look on my mom ... forgetting that we are differently shaped... so im unsure if i like them on me...  I fixed them!!!!!!@!@!!!!! So.. what do ya think?

heres how they were when i first resized them.... i tried just making a completely new seem around the whole inseam.. because of how my jeans always fit..(not tight enough in the thighs and butt but good in the waist)but that gave me a bunched crotch so i had to take out the stitches at the crotch and sew in a denim scrap diamond

i  also resized thse pj pants i bought .. cus they stretched out like 2in and were already like 5in too big on each leg

feedback would be great!!!

7  dining room chairs and side tables in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by lc425 on: November 17, 2007 07:46:21 AM
we recently moved.. so of course my mom had a million projects for me to do... heres the chairs i recovered for our "formal" dining room... theres 6 chairs and the table has a black base and a piece of glass set on top of it. before the chairs were in red fabric but we live in florida so the sunligh faded 3 of the chairs... under the red was white vinyl? which had a blueish tint ... so i covered them grey

and i also painted and made fabric coverings for these stools that were just sitting in our garage ... we were going to use them as stools but my mom decided  to turn them into mini tables for our "formal" living room

sorry the pics are so bad... my cameras broke so i had to use the cell

9  pants to skirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by lc425 on: May 02, 2007 08:07:09 PM
I made this out of a pair of way too small pants i got from a thrift store. I cut off the legs, added side panels, and then added a long rectangle too the bottom. the fabric kind of looks wierd in these pics.
front(its really not bunchy like that )

back(i had a dress i made over it so just ignore that plz)

I made this out of these pants

i cut off the legs sewed the front and back, then i added side panels (too small pants again) and the just cut little tiny snips to create the ripped jean mini skirt look

front( really not as akward as they look here i swear)

back
