21  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Pushing Daisies swap on: January 01, 2008 06:24:46 AM
It seems a number of people are interested - when would be a good time?

I'd think maybe signups mid to late January, with sendouts early to mid February? How would that be?

I'm a slacker and watch TV or movies.

26  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Norman Rockwell to Bad Ass B***** on: December 26, 2007 12:05:40 PM
That's hilarious! Rockwell would be proud, I'm sure. Where will you hang it? It seems like a perfect bathroom decoration.
27  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: What crafty type gifts did you GET? on: December 26, 2007 10:53:22 AM
My sister gave me a Swedish knitting book with tips and patterns. I've already read through a lot of it; it looks great. My mom is paying for another weekend pottery class, and got me a fancy stamp with my initial on it (from Barcelona!) to put at the bottom of my pottery instead of just etching my name in. I may use it for some polyclay stuff too.
28  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: End Grain Butcher Block on: December 26, 2007 10:17:37 AM
They're GORGEOUS, and I'm sure as you say they'll be useful for a long time. A high-quality butcher block is a very good thing to have.
29  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Pushing Daisies swap on: December 26, 2007 10:11:01 AM
I hardly ever drink anything other than soda or water - so today, when I was at my parents and people were drinking beer, I kept some of the tops to make tiny pie tins...
30  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: If you knitted christmas present this year... on: December 26, 2007 10:09:14 AM
My brother's armwarmers turned out to be a little too big, so I've promised him a second set.
