1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Space Dress on: May 09, 2013 01:28:20 PM
A few weeks ago, I went to Hobby Lobby to get an easel. I left Hobby Lobby with four yards of fabric, a new dress pattern, new needles for my sewing machine, and no easel. Thus, the space dress was born!

Upon opening the pattern and beginning to cut out the pieces, I discovered that it has pockets. I fell in love all over again!

I also love the collar.

I made this dress from Simplicity pattern 1755. Thanks for looking!

6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Quilted Slytherin Backpack on: October 05, 2012 01:08:42 PM
For the Back to Hogwarts 3 swap I made my partner a backpack to fit her favorite house. This is my first ever quilting project. I did look up different things about quilting, but mainly got that the gist of it is sewing batting between fabric. Also, I made up my own pattern because I couldn't find one that I liked. So, I went and picked up some Slytherin colored fabric, some low-loft batting, and got an iron on Slytherin patch. Here are the results:

I am pleased with how it came out!
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Snorlax Hat! on: August 16, 2012 09:24:06 PM
This is the second Pokemon hat I have made and once again it was fun coming up with how to do his head and legs. I promise that yarn is a dark blue and not black like it looks in some of the pictures!

This is the first blanket I have ever made. I am so glad to be finished with it because it was taking up all of my crafting time! I made up the pattern.
