Invisible Zippers!

i've heard that they're the easist to sew but how do you sew them?

p.s. i'm sewing them by hand.

I've had this fabric lying around for years now. any ideas on what to make?

okay, first post 

so, my two uncles and my cuz are graduating this year and i want to wear some skirts to their ceremonies

and i was thinkin some thing like this:

can anyone give me some pointers on how to make it? most likely i'll have to sew it by hand.

<edit> does anyone have an idea of what kind of tops to wear with it?
