I've been cleaning out my stash for the past few weekends, and yesterday I found all this fabric and yarn I didn't even remember I had (the week before, I'd found all this paper I'd forgotten about).  I've got enough stuff for at least a couple more rounds after this.  Grin

Can't wait to find out what my partner would like from my stash.

Doing great.  I've been steadily working on one project over my lunch break (ever notice how the more you're involved in something, the more people come up to you and talk?), and I'm just about done, and the major item's probably going to be finished tonight, too.

It's a small package but there's lots of love in it!

They're usually the most fun to make...though can lead to major swap anxiety when you've sent a padded envelope and your partner's sent a big old box, even if what you've made's pretty evenly matched (not that it's ever happened to me... Wink).

In addition to the paper, I've been pulling the fabric stash out, and realised that I probably have enough upholstery swatches and small cuts of fabric (up to 1/2 yd) to greatly contribute to filling a box...and I had no idea.

Let me get this straight - you wanna share a pair of Fundies with your stuffie? You got issues...  Shocked

rotfl...I think that's my quote for the weekend.

I've been sorting my fabric this weekend.  Also found a stash of felt.  Now to finish my stuff for the Alice Swap before partners are assigned here *being good*

Ah! I want to do this so bad. I'm just not sure if my crafting will be up to par (sp?) enough to be enjoyed enough by the partner! Hmm, I'm going to try and think of more ideas of things to make/how to make them.. I'll probably send in my info Saturday :]

Why don't you think you'll be up to par...lack of time, lack of skill, or lack of actual ideas?  If it's specific ideas, I get most of mine for swaps after I get my partner's questionnaire and have an idea of what they like.  And as for skill level, people of all levels craft for swaps, and sometimes you just have a great idea that you have to try something new to do.  I say if you really want to join, then don't be afraid of not being skilled enough (otherwise, I'd never join swaps)!   Cheesy

so basically stuff you find and keep from everyday life that isn't designed paper for meant for crafting...got it-i have lots of that Smiley

It's basically the pack rat's excuse to save everything ("But I can put it in my ____!").  It gives a project that great, not-straight-off-the-craft-store-shelf look, but you have to take the stuff you've gathered and actually use it.  Wink
