Ha. It's been bugging me too. The bottom plate broke off and I've been debating what to do with it.

There is a spray paint called Krylon Fusion. It is meant to bond with plastic. I haven't used it personally but a friend did to revamp a plastic patio set and it worked great.

Well this started as a basic need to hang up some chunkier necklaces. First it was just the would board painted with hooks...didn't like it. Then I found some mosaic stained glass pieces and added the mirror...needed more so I added the polymer clay dragon goddess in the middle.

The worst part was I didn't have any grout so I threw together some Plaster of Paris and painted it black and sealed it with poly.

Honestly they would make wonderful necklace holders. The one I'm keeping in my studio will serve that purpose. You could also attach those little tea coup hooks at the bottom for extra storage.
