So I have another post earlier about my daughter getting her brother's T's turned into tube tops... Well I saw this shirt on my husbands "donation" pile earlier today so I snagged it for her. This was an experiment. so there is no tut..... But I might do one....
The before shirt... I had to search the net to find it. I forgot to take a before pic.
I've got two teenagers a son who is 16 and a daughter who is 14.... Hand me downs are not an option, atleast not at these ages. With summer coming up my son gives me his shirts that he's tired of or doesn't fit and I make her tube tops. I also scour the Thrifts for neat men's shirts or larger women's shirts to do this with. It's so simple, take a look at the video to see how fast and easy you they are to make. There are other versions of the Tube's on my blog. The Video Tutorial:
This one was too small to make into a tube top but I couldn't resist making it into something so I made it into a halter:
My daughter Katie is always drawing and I wanted a fun way to display her work. ***I wish I had thought of this when my kids were little!*** Make one from your little babies footprints and handprints on paper. They would make great family gifts or party favors. The Tut: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFRW2Lnb610 My daughters drawing:
