42  Wrap skirt *tutorial added* in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Hadassah on: August 13, 2007 07:40:15 AM
Hello!

I made a wrap skirt, with my cousin's help of course, and I wanted to see  what y'all think.

All spread out. (sorry about the cat, he wouldn't move)

Standing still.

Back of the skirt while twirling.

Side of the skirt while twirling.

And twirling just for fun!

The first picture isn't very much like the true color. All of the other one's are though.
I like to twirl if you haven't noticed. Cheesy

Okay, here is another skirt I did and a tutorial I made on paint.

Oh, and just a note, You will need to iron in between the cut and sew steps. Lots of ironing! If you are wondering how long to cut the ties you really just cut them to the length that you like them at. (You will have to make the tutorial picture bigger to read the text)
If anyone needs further help just pm me.

44  long lined zippered pouch in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Hadassah on: August 11, 2007 05:19:56 PM
I made a long lined zippered pouch! Check it out!

It has my initials embroidered on the outside. I think the inside is a little too bright because people keep asking me why I picked such a bright lining material.  Tongue

47  crocheted Bunny in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Hadassah on: August 11, 2007 05:00:05 PM
Hello Craftsters!
I made a bunny from the lavender bunny tutorial. There is a link on here somewhere. I made it for my best friend's (not yet arrived) sibling.
Enjoy!

And my brother's cat came and sat down wanting a picture too! Smiley

I used a bigger crochet hook than the patten so it turned out a lot bigger. I would of liked it smaller but I didn't have the right sized crochet hook....

48  Rice Filled Frog *Tutorial* in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Hadassah on: August 11, 2007 09:56:42 AM
I made this frog from tracing around another one that I got from the store. I added a tutorial for anyone that wants to make one.

What you need:
Fabric
two small beads or buttons for eyes
rice or beans for filling

Here is the pattern (you will have to increase the size)

Step One: Cut the frog pattern piece out and then pin it onto your fabric of choice.

Step two and three: Cut around the pattern that you have pinned onto your fabric. Sew along the edges of your now cut out frog pieces (Make sure you leave a hole for filling).

Step four: Turn your frog inside out.

step five: Fill your frog with rice (Its a good idea to do it over a trash can so you don't spill rice all over your carpet like me).

Step six and seven: sew up the hole you used for filling and then sew beads on for eyes.

Admire your beautiful frog!  Wink
