I bought this pattern about a year, but haven't had the time to make it. It looks great! A dress form sounds like a good idea too!
2  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Take a page from my book...gown! (img heavy) on: October 16, 2009 07:45:26 AM
A novel idea and a beautiful dress!

Great idea for the standard jeans skirt! I love the tee addition too.
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: My attempt at the Bjork Swan Dress~ on: June 25, 2009 07:26:26 AM
It's great! I think it's is much better looking than the original; that looked more like a dead swan wrapped around her body. Your's is a real dressy dress.

That's incredible! I see so many things here that are made from WalMart fabric that look just wonderful, but I'm not near one.

It's absolutely beautiful! I'm going to see more on your blog. I love the fabric too, but then I am all for flowers!
8  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Amy Butler Snuggle-Wrap blanket on: May 12, 2009 09:32:15 AM
That is fabulous! I wish I had one when my girls were babies. Both pretty and functional. When you wrap a baby in a blanket it always comes undone sooner or later.

Great dresses! You did a wonderful job! I love the little pigtails; we used to call them palm trees in my family.

They are all so cute! I especially love the Little Red Ridding Hood dress and cape. You could wear it anytime.
