Oh and btw, I stole the cute fabric from an old skirt and the pink lining used to be a prom dress, I didn't think it belonged in recon since I pretty much just cut out the fabric. :-D

I learned to knit from reading "Knitting and Crocheting for Dummies" and I'm still working on it but this is my first completed project...



It's a cute bag with some glass beads that I just love, sorry I couldn't get a good pic of the beads!

It's a long brown skirt and I love it!  I had to make a bag to match with the left over fabric!

I'm quite new to craftster and I became SO inspired to make something cute to wear that I went out and bought a sewing machine!  Great idea in theory until I decided to make a shirt from a skirt that no longer fit properly...well lets just say I butchered the poor cute skirt that I probably could have worn again as soon as I lose 10 more lbs...anyway, I was wondering if you have any ideas on patterns, and tutorials that are good for a beginner and that are flowy tops...I like tank top/spaghetti strap shirts that flow down and hide my tummy.  Ideas??
