2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Empty Monster Nitrous Energy Drink Can on: October 18, 2010 12:42:01 PM
My fave energy dink is monster nitrous and as I was finishing mine today I though that there has gotta be something I can do with this.  It has a large about one inch mouth with a screw on cap. What should I use it for? Storage? What should I store? I need ideas!

Here is a link that can give you an idea of the opening...

4  COOKING / Dessert / Moist Brownie Cake on: July 08, 2008 07:25:56 PM
Basically I just used a box of betty croker Devils Food cake, followed the directions, added a box of chocolate pudding mix, an extra tsp of oil and some chocolate chips and came up with this yummyness that is somewhere between cake and brownies.  The edges burnt a bit but its still yummy!

and cut

5  COOKING / Dessert / Oreo Bombs on: July 05, 2008 01:41:37 PM
Inspired by the 5647519853 posts about oreo bombs aka white trash truffles...here's my take on them!

I took them to work and people LOVED them.  I was told several times how evil I was for bringing something so decadant to work :-p especially considering everyone is always on a diet lol
6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / 23 year old Rock Star party! on: June 18, 2008 09:49:34 AM
So I will be turning 23 in August and I want to have a great party to celebrate!

Recently my friends, boyfriend and I have been madly obsessed with Rock Band on the Xbox 360 so I was thinking about possibly having a Rock Star themed party.  The ideas Ive come up with include us all having to dress up as a Rock Star and of course playing Rock Band and having contests and whatnot.  I just need more ideas!  Ideas for dcor, food, and whatever else you can think of.
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Lanyard Crazy! on: May 22, 2008 11:00:33 PM
At my job we all have to wear a badge at all times in the building.  The company provides us with a crappy little blue lanyard but it's boring and plain, so I decided to make myself a pretty new one!  When I wore it to work everyone thought it was great so I decided to make one for all the girls on my team, including myself their are 14 girls on the team.  I made 15 or 16 lanyards (a few aren't pictured) and I thought I'd show them off to you before I hand them out.  Let me know what you think!

All of them!

8  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Cheap Plastic Lamp Shades into...pretty and cheap plastic lamp shades! on: May 20, 2008 08:26:57 PM
So we have this floor lamp from Wal*Mart and it works fine but the lamp shades were just cheap plastic and blah.  They are like this see through white and icky.  So i decoupaged them with some awesome glittery-swirly tissue paper and here they are!  One with the light on and one with it off.

Off...

and On...

A friend said it looks like it's marbled which is pretty darn cool
