I completed this dress today for my daughter.
I used the following pattern: http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/cr_needlework_crochet/article/0,1789,HGTV_3260_2820290,00.html

Feedback would be fab! Wink

Brilliant idea.  I've thought of making clutch and steering wheel covers.

I am now inspired.   Wink

I also refuse to make doilies for about the same reason. lol.

Exactly! Smiley *chuckles*

I think I attempted a doily when my Aunt first taught me crochet when I was 9-10.  I didn't continue the craft.  Only just recently picked it up again for more interesting and entertaining reasons. Wink

Great color choice, and good looking stitches.  Something to be inspired by.

Truly awesome.  You did a great job capturing their appearance!

Be sure to post your Dad's reaction in December.  I'd love to know his words of praise!   Cheesy

Hello everyone.

This is my first post.  I have frequented these forums for several months, however.  Everyone has posted some incredible projects: awe inspiring.   Smiley

Below is my first major crocheting project: a power up mushroom from Mario Bros.  Prior to this I did a doily some 8 years back, and more recently some booties and a cap for my newborn daughter.

My Power up Mushroom!

This was done partially with a pattern (mushroom base), and partially without (mushroom top).  The top fungi opens up, for compartment fun!

I plan to do a series of video game themed things.  So I'm just getting my hands dirty!  It's been fulfilling.

Thanks for the gander!  See you around! Wink
