2  Topi in Knitting: Completed Projects by knittynikki on: May 07, 2006 12:48:20 PM
Here's my version of Topi -- I thought it was a preg_replace('/(.{19})/', '$1 ', 'REAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYY') easy project, so for all you new beginning knitters, I highly recommend using this project if you want a hipster-hat and some experience with circular and double-pointed needles.

If this pic doesn't suffice, I can take a couple more to show the back/side view or whatev, but this is what I got  Wink

Happy knitting, happy BEGINNING OF SUMMER TIME, OMFG!@!!!!!!!!!!

Also, you can see more at my blog preg_replace('/(.{19})/', '$1 ', 'KnittyKnittyBangBang') (http://knittybang.blogrive.com)

3  Debbie Bliss Cabled Cardi Hoodie from Book 4 in Knitting: Completed Projects by knittynikki on: March 25, 2006 12:14:53 PM
This was so fun to make!!   It took me like a month and a lot of patience with cables and the sort.  I HIGHLY recommend making this sweater, it really makes you feel accomplished -- or maybe it's just my exuberant love for knitted cardis with cables??  Roll Eyes

Here's some pix:

You can read more if you like at my blog, http://knittybang.blogdrive.com.

Thanks for stopping by!!  Happy knitting, as always  Cheesy

OMG, i love your plushie!  PLUS, i love the fact that you had a beck album just hanging out in the background.  automatically cool, lol.

 Wink

heeeeee
I know mine's not finished at all, but I thought she looked too cute without ears/appendages and I had to post some photos.

Beck is standing behind her so that you won't see my ugly wallpaper which is going to be painted over sometime this week.

and here she is sleeping.. aww
(haha.. I took this photo so you could better see the purple)

I'm using caron simply soft (her clothes) and woolease (her fur).

8  Big Pimpin' Hat -AKA- I think I'm a homie sometimes in Knitting: Completed Projects by knittynikki on: February 25, 2006 04:36:01 PM
Here's a hat that I just finished for someone who is in desperate need of one (snowy weather still where he's from - Minnesota!)
I used 1x1 ribbing for the body 3x3 rib for the cast on edge, and added a brim.  Sad to see it go, but at least it got sold, wooo!  Cheesy

9  Re: Random Acts of Strangeness Postcard Swap Part II Gallery in The Swap Gallery by knittynikki on: January 28, 2006 09:07:23 AM
i just got my final postcard from tiff yesterday!!  VERY COOL, YOU GUYS!

i definitely did find myself going "where in the hell did these ideas come from??  Awesome job, i was quite amused.  Here's a pic of all 4:

the green one is from tiff with rainbow brite saying "the only problem is that i'm not entitled to the money until the day i marry."  hmm, says a lot about that 80s girl, no?
the next one is from Nutella and SUPER creeps me out!  weird goblin face in the mickey mouse xmas template.  tres creepy. below that is annette's "does this make me look fat?" SoCal based pcard with acupuncture models.  And one from goatgoddess -- the one with the cats with human faces.  and an arse.  NOICE!

way cool swap!  can't wait to do another!  Cheesy

--EDIT--
I JUST received this pcard in the mail from kara!  ...though it was addressed to kate j. i guess someone else got mine?  the postcard is really effing cool, it has mirror eyes on the face which is composed on a stage and a strawberry print on the side for a background.  very cool! i love the eyes!!  things that pop out on pcards rawks my socks.  thanks so much!!  --DOUBLE EDIT-- did i receive this one on accident?
