53  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Rubicks Cube Endtable on: November 20, 2007 01:03:05 PM
I love this and I could tell right away that it was based on a Rubik's Cube. But maybe your class is too young to think of that right away. Great job!

I love the wallet with the card slots and everything. That's my next endeavor!
55  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Purse with a super-long handle on: November 20, 2007 12:40:23 PM
Here's a purse I did with really long handles and my first zipper. I had a lot of trouble with the zipper and it still got a bit messed up, but I'm anxious to try it again.

57  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Old-fashioned dress on: April 24, 2007 11:37:03 AM
I've had this old-timey black velvety dress with lace collar for years and it looks like a tent on me, so I never wear it. I like the old-fashioned feel to it, but I don't know what to do with it. Change it into a costume? Any thoughts? If I do make a costume with it,  who would I go as? What time era is it even reminiscent of? Or can I change it around and make it into something else I can wear as "regular" clothes? Sorry I'm so clueless about it--I'm just drawing a total blank and really need some brainstorming ideas. THANKS!!!
