I love those purses and I love the wallet! What kind of interfacing/fabric did you use to make them stand up so sturdily? This is my neverending problem with purses.

Also, I have that teal fabric with the brown swirly design. I made a purse out of it!  Grin

Yes, I read the books when I was a kid. I don't remember them very well, but I do remember that there were so many other characters than in the movie and I remember how weird they were. I picked up some of the books at the library and I noticed a character in one of them called Jack the Pumpkinhead. Isn't that the same character as Jack from Tim Burton's movie The Nightmare Before Christmas? They seem the same to me.

I have fabric! (Thanks again dawt!!) I brought my 5-year-old daughter with me, which was a mistake. "Mommy, can that be for me? Can you make something for me? Please? Please?" Aargh! I've already rented the movie and first I kicked my family out of the house so I could let the ideas wash over me, then I let my daughter watch with me. She was scared of the witch and it brought back so many memories of that scary witch that I was actually having fun watching my daughter cower into me whenever the witch came on the screen. I hope that doesn't make me an evil mom!  Wink

It also made me appreciate Margaret Hamilton's performance even more. You just don't get a more awesome witch than hers.

Thanks Dawt! There's a Beverly's close to me so I am going to check it out today! Yay! I checked out a bunch of prints on online stores and they are awesome! The sepia toned ones are just beautiful! I'm so excited to see what Beverly's has.

Where did you get the Oz fabric--online? Do you think I could find oz fabric at a big chain like Joanns? I have some local quilt stores I can check out also.
