1  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Kings of Leon Stencils? on: January 02, 2006 05:43:53 PM
I need a variety, if possible.
My computer is mucked up, and you'd be my new friend if you made some for me!

2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Printmaking/Printmakers? on: July 12, 2005 11:41:33 AM
I got the opportunity to work as a paid apprentice to a printmaker this summer, and I was wondering if any of you do this...it's pretty cool, but I don't think it would be something I'd want to do to earn a living. Maybe I'll post pictures of some prints tomorrow so you can see what this is, if you're totally clueless. Smiley The prints we make (there's 8 apprentices, including me) will be bought by St. Mary's Cancer Center, because they're trying to get all local art in the building.
If any of you know what I'm talking about, and if you make prints, I would love to see them!
3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Father's Day / Dad who likes to tinker...? on: June 15, 2005 11:05:50 AM
Ok. I'm at a loss. I stenciled him a tee last year that had the front of a jeep on the front, and the back of the jeep on the back. He was on a jeep kick. This year, there's really nothing he's fascinated with. He likes to tinker around and fix stuff, or chop trees, or mow the lawn. Stuff like that. He's semi crafty - he made a mosaic of a light house/beach which was cool, he painted some benches fancily, we'll just say, he never calls someone to come fix something because he can do it by himself.
I don't know if anyone will have any ideas, but, whatever you'd like to add you may. Smiley
Oh, he's very witty and wise as well.
4  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / T-shirt fabric... on: April 19, 2005 05:44:08 PM
What is the best thread, stitch, and needle to use when sewing t-shirt fabric?  Grin I'm trying to learn, but I can't find any help anywhere...
5  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / How many pages... on: April 18, 2005 04:22:22 PM
...do you typically use when creating an altered book? I'm starting my first one, and would like an idea of where to start so I don't get overwhelmed. Smiley
6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Christmas gift for Dad on: November 27, 2004 05:28:53 PM
Well, I don't really know what my dad really likes. I don't see him too much, but I do know that he works a lot: he likes to fix things and work outside in the yard. Other than that I don't know anything he really enjoys. Sad I know, but when I get to see him he's usually working. He's not really into anything technical, I guess he likes to read in some of his free-time. Maybe you could give me some suggestions for an "in a box" thing for readers? That would be so helpful. Smiley
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Looking for a Baseball Tee Pattern/Instructions on: November 19, 2004 06:58:53 AM
I can't seem to find any reasonably priced tees that fit me (long torso, small bust) so I might as well give sewing a try huh? If you have anything, even ideas that could get me started, they would be greatly apprieciated. Smiley
8  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Emu Oil = Pore Minimizer? on: November 18, 2004 12:57:57 PM
Emu Oil? Anyway, I read this somewhere and would like to know if any of you have heard of this, or have heard of this working. Thanks!
9  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Present for my brother...turning 15 on: August 13, 2004 05:09:27 PM
Well, I decided I want to make something for him to save my moo-lah, and I need a little bit of advice. He's into baseball, and basketball. He likes the Tigers and the Pistons because we live in MI. Any suggestions as to what to make for him using the logos, colors, and players pictures would be so helpful. I have a little over a month to complete this, fyi. Thanks in advance for all your ideas!
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Huge Concert Sweatshirt? on: July 29, 2004 12:24:55 PM
I would like to turn this into something new, preferrably a new article of clothing, but I need some of your genius ideas to get me started. Smiley Let me know if you come up with any ideas please!
