Life has been a whorlwind. Been extremely busy...Fretty has been taking it easy. I'll be picking up my photos from CVS today and have several days to finish my book and send it out by the 7th.
Fretty has a play date next weekend with my family for Father's Day. It's at the lake on the Air Force Base that I work at. So, we'll be visiting the ducks and the horses. Should be good...maybe even get a few more photos of the aircraft that are flying overhead or even in pieces getting fixed. Should be interesting. Not much to do in this small military town...with a big depot (aircraft maintenance) but I can certainly get a few things done. Hans went to New Jersey last week and forgot to take Fretty with him...that's ok. But the return box is going to be really cool.
Fretty went strawberry picking last sunday. He's a bit sunburned...got fried out in the field, so he's been resting up for the long weekend. Says he's been seeing all the airplanes flying around and wants to go see them. So, we're going to the Air Museum tomorrow so he can see the airplanes.
I'll be posting scrapbook pages here soon. I think Fretty is bringing home a girlfriend. He's really taken up with one of my mini dolls. She said she wanted to go with him when he goes home. He's really having fun in my small town.
I'm wondering how Poona is liking Chi town. I haven't heard from her since she arrived.
Fretty helped me drive the 5 1/2 hours back from Destin. He's been resting up since strawberry picking yesterday.
He missed out on the sprinkler fun with the kids today. He was much happier laying on the couch watching Whammy, the all new Press Your Luck. He gets his fill of TV until the kids come home from daycare. He usually disappears upstairs to watch Foster's and Camp Lazlo.
So he's going to talk to the Geisha on my desk later this week.
Fretty had the best time in Destin...and then he went Strawberry Picking yesterday. To put it lightly...between the Strawberry Daquiries and the Margaritas, he's been laid up since after dinner last night. He told me today that if he was well enough, he wanted to go to work with me and watch the F-15s and the C-130s of the Air Force Fleet take off and hot dog above the flightline. I made just settle taking him to the Air Museum next to the Air Force Base to let him climb all over the airplanes and fly simulators for himself.
