1  Re: Little Visitor Swap Round 8 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by gwenyvarr on: April 20, 2008 07:33:42 AM
Ok...here's Fretty...

The day he arrived...it was so hot...but he wanted to take pictures on my banister before diving...and I mean diving in.

and yes...he did play in the pool with my kids.

Towling off

Meeting new friends...sock monkey and bun bun

The first of his many drinking photos...he started the week with a Mississippi Mud Black and Tan...who would have thought this guy could drink me under the table.

and a note from Fretty to his RaeRaggs...Happy MUDDER's DAY...

Ok...Pucca took to hiding and won't come out for nothing. I do have a photo of her but my little furry friend that's stepping up is named Poona.

My son named this Red Panda and her name actually means Badminton in Indian.

So, without further ado...Here's Poona.

Her favorite spot is curled up next to my husband

She loves to help make a snack

Here she is with my daughter

and with Monkey joe

and all three...

and now here's Pucca

Guess what was waiting for me when I got home last night.  Yep.  The package from Canada finally arrived.

Here's a teaser...I'll post the other two items tonight

I stuck these on the mini fridge at my desk at work as they would have disappeared by two pairs of little fingers...

Monchichan disappeared as soon as my daughter found him.  She hasn't let him go yet.

Oh, Astica, the shirt fits perfectly.  I tried it on last night and it's not to small at all.  Thank you so much.

Yes that roll of blue tape came too...Duct tape I believe...you can never have too much...

Thank you so much again...I can't wait to get into the yarn and patterns...Especially the dress pattern for Sierra...With that cute fabric, I have endless possibilities.

This was my son's birthday cake.  He decorated it all by himself.

Sugar Free Chocolate Cake

1 1/2 cups of  whole wheat flour
1/4 cup of Splenda
1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 cup of Soy milk
2/3 cup of Smart Balance Margarine
2 Eggs

Combine all ingredients in large bowl and beat just until blended. Pour into well greased and floured 9x13 cake pan. Bake at 350F. for 40-45 minutes or until done. NOTES : Calories=86 per serving with 1 gram fat

Sugar Free Buttercream Icing
1/3    cup heavy cream
1/2    cup Smart Balance Margarine
1     cup Splenda
1    teaspoon vanilla extract

# Gradually whisk by hand cream into soft peaks
# With an electric mixer on medium speed, beat in butter, Splenda, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and fluffy.
# Place 1 cake layer on serving platter. Spread 1/2 cup frosting evenly across top of cake. Place second layer on top then spread remaining eve evenly on top and sides if you wish. I like to pile all my frosting on top. Cut and serve.
