The necklaces are fab I like the sewing machine one best as it looks just like the singer I have. A Little nigle with the tv one though i would have put the lightning bolts running away from the tv as though it was sound coming out . But thats just me . Good work.

If yopu can't be botherd with all the fafing about making your own paterns try carboots or flea markets and charity shops most have patterns hanging around. There is always ebay.

Try tucking the orange between the 2 layers and see how it feels might work.

Okay, I'm a NEWBIE sewer and it's not the machine, it is me, because this is the second machine I've screwed up like this and CAN'T figure out how to fix it.

What is wrong?

From what I read on this site http://www.treadleon.net/sewingmachineshop/tensionadjustment/tensionadjustment.html
 it's either you've threaded up wrong or the TOP tension needs adjusting.   The site is amed at Treadle machines but basicly tension problems are the same on any machine. I would start by re threading first usualy my thread misses the tension discs.
