I'm no expert but I would construct the garment with the ribbing fixed to the outer layer then put in the lining and hand stich it in place.

This reminds me of my dress. I got married in '93.

Don't alter anything till you try the dress on with the underware you'r going to have on the day. it can make a big diffrence.

28  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Re: Can anyone identify this machine? on: September 02, 2008 06:16:57 AM
Very similar to this one. http://www.needlebar.org/cm/displayimage.php?album=search&cat=0&pos=6 I think the body is the same. I think a lot of companys bought the same machine parts and built their own versions.
29  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Re: VW camper van interior design help! on: August 05, 2008 12:16:03 PM
Denim patch work seat covers, hardwearing and washable. You could even get away with denim curtains. I would change the flooring if it is carpet to lino as it will be easier to keep clean. Just think of all that sand.   Some nice ideas here. http://www.snailtrail.co.uk/meet_the_campers.htm
