2  Sweaters & Scarves! in Knitting: Completed Projects by lissie on: January 31, 2010 04:46:50 AM
These were started last year and I finally finished them this year. Both are seamless, top-down sweaters. First up is Mondo Cable Cardi in Cotton-Ease. Collar was a little tricky. The designer posted extra instructions in Ravelry and it helped.

Next up is Buttercup in Hempathy. Simple, well-written pattern with just a bit of lace to keep it interesting.

These scarves were finished last year. One of them was a gift for a friend and the others went to charity. They made great mindless commute knitting.

One Row Handspun Scarf in Malabrigo Merino Worsted. I cast on only 22 stitches for a narrower scarf.

One Row Handspun Scarf

Scrappy Lengthwise Scarf in Spotlight Basics 8 Ply Acrylic. I cast on 30 stitches and knitted this widthwise.

Another One Row Handspun Scarf in Spotlight Basics 8 Ply Acrylic. Cast on with 34 stitches and just knitted till yarn ran out.

3  Annette from Knitty in Knitting: Completed Projects by lissie on: August 31, 2009 06:23:56 AM

This is Annette from Knitty. I used less than 5 balls of Knit Picks Shine Sport for the size S. I didn't fancy the cropped look so I lengthened the body by adding another buttonhole.

More pictures and details here.

4  Little Button Loafers (Updated with 1 button strap version) in Crochet: Completed Projects by lissie on: January 02, 2009 03:37:28 AM
Update:
I made another pair of the itty bitty booties. This time it's the 1 button strap version. The pattern includes both versions. Details are the same as below. There're more pictures here.

I didn't have a single crocheted FO for 2008 so it's great to kickstart 2009 with one! I made these for a friend who's having a baby. They're easy to make and freakin' cute.

Pattern: Little Button Loafers (pattern is available for purchase from Sylver Designs)

Size: 1 (3 months) (3.75″L by 2″W)

Yarn: 0.5 x Rowan All Seasons Cotton in Cookie and a little bit of Rowan All Seasons Cotton in Military

Hook: 3.5m

Details and more pictures in blog post.

7  Monkey See, Monkey Do in Knitting: Completed Projects by lissie on: May 15, 2008 11:08:08 AM
So like the other 89283492 knitters before me, I had to knit a pair of Monkey socks. This was knitted in Knit Picks Memories yarn in the Redwood Forest colourway. Totally reminds me of Autumn.

I've got lots more pictures and pattern babbling in my blog post if you're interested.
