I am loving these! You did such a fantastic job! I solemly swear by the dreamcatcher by my bed. (plus I'm native american so that helps  Wink

I would love it if you could give a tutorial on this? I've been thinking about making one for a while but had no idea where to start!

I am also native american! LOL. I will try to make a turtorial (if I remember) on the next one. I had another order so when I start it I will take pictures of the process.

Beautiful!  It's been so long since I've seen dream catchers.  What did you use for the web?

I used artificial sinew in the middle. It can be hard to work with because it constantly has to be pulled tight or it will come loose and not look very good.

I recently made these for a friend of my mom's. They were gifts for her grandkids. I have been doing dreamcatchers like these since I was about 12. Feel free to comment. THANKS!

5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Disposable Camera Swap Round 3 - GALLERIA! :) on: December 16, 2007 10:21:05 AM
PlumCrafty you are most welcome for the pics. It's hard taking pictures around here. I wasn't sure what to take! LOL. If you want to know the background behind any of them, let me know.  Grin

Yes, please Shay8317. What is the name of that lovely lake that you photographed, and the concrete structure?

There are actually two lakes I took pictures of. The one where you see the island in the middle is Beaver lake and the other is Lake Atalanta (the one with the little walk over bridge)

The concrete structure is an old hotel. It was built in the 1800s. the one with the flower spray painted is actually a three story fireplace from an old house. If you want to look up more history on it, search Monte Ne, Arkansas. It will talk about the area and everything.

I really hope my partner likes the frame. It took me forever to come up with something. I thought and thought and bought supplies and just didn't know what to do. Then it just kinda hit me and I did what I thought was cute so I HOPE THEY LIKE IT! I should be sending tomorrow. Just need to take a few more pics.

10  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / Please Help with Decorating picture frame? on: November 13, 2007 06:44:58 AM
I am wanting to decorate a picture frame with clay, but I don't know how I would bake it once I get it completely decorated. Could someone help me with this. I want to use the technique like a lot of others have on here where they make swirls and things like that. THANKS!
