1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Cocktail Cookbook on: October 29, 2007 12:29:55 PM
When I go to a friends house for a get together, I always bring a fun drink for all of us to share.  Fun spirits such as a Classy Slut (made with X-rated) or Morning Martini (coffee flavored martini).

So I was thinking that we can made a cocktail cookbook?

3  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Screwd Up Screwdriver from Martha on: September 01, 2007 03:31:47 PM
ok who else has Marthas new halloween issue?  Who else has called every liquor store to find the black vodka she mentions for her screw driver?

I called almost every liquor store in Madison and only ONE store has it... I MUST BUY IT.

Because look at this isnt it spooky!

4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Im on the melting bandwagon on: August 24, 2007 07:45:09 AM
So after seeing all these cool posts with people melting tings, I HAD to try it.

So I went with the army men.  I dont have any metal mixing bowls or anything.  I saw a woman on tv just lay them out on foil on a cookie sheet and then molded it in a glass bowl.  Thats wat I did.

Here is the first on.

Yeah... it DID NOT TURN OUT!

But I gave it another go and it worked out!

6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / I LOVE getting mail! on: August 21, 2007 09:57:25 PM
My friend and I send mail to each other all the time.  Most of the time it is something simple like a magazine clipping or a random photo or a craft idea or even a coupon.  ANYTHING really.  because we LOVE getting mail!  I even make my own envelopes! (did you know if it is shiny they cost more to send?)

maybe someone could send out a mailing list or swap mail partners or something.  I am just throwing that idea out there.

I am doing my first swap so I cant head one up yet.... but I will one day.

Sorry for the blurry pics.  Im just to lazy latley to charge my camera battery. Since I am on crutches those little things become a hassle.  Anyways I made these last night.  I forgot how much fun Shrinky-Dinks are.

10  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / all the faces looking back at me. on: July 16, 2007 06:43:01 AM
I made this mirror over the weekend.  Of course I cant cant full credit.  I did notice one like it in this in Amber Nussbaum craft room. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=182055.0;topicseen

here is mine.  A few things I flubbed on.  In the back the keyhole shaped spots for hanging are on the bottom, so that means the faces are technically upside down and also I wrinkled some of the faces.
