I made this little yellow thing as an swap bag to my classmate. The colour isn't exactly right, it's a bit darker in real life.

I was wondering if you could tell us a little more about the yarn. I know it's mostly acrylic, so is it scratchy at all? Thanks.

Nope, it's actually kinda soft... Though, there is one bad thing too, it leaves some little white pieces on my black jeans. The reason I picked this yarn is that because it's mostly acrylic, it's stronger then those yarns which have mostly mohair in them. But I wanted a mohair shawl. And I liked to work with this yarn.

I did some chains and triple crochets... hard to explain (because English actually isn't the language I speak every day, so I'm not very good at it), but I try. First I made a long chain (the number of chain stitches must be divisible by 7). Then, when I started the second line, I did a 7 chains, then sc into 7th chain from the big chain I made first. 3rd line is 7 ch, sc; then 7 triple crochets (double-treble crochet for UK) and then again 7 chains... 4th line is again only with chains and sc-s. 5th line is chains and triple crochets by turns. I hope you did understand, also look at the picture I made about the bottom part, that can help you too!

The yarn really suits the stitch and style.

Yeah, I think that the best yarn for this stitch is mohair or anything that consists it.

The colour isn't right... actually the bag is turqouise blue



I used about 50g of Titan wool riccione magnum (80% acrylic, 20% wool) yarn.

Now one of my friends have the bag, because it turned out to be too small for me and she just loved it.
