1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / PIPING? on: May 05, 2007 06:53:57 PM
Hey everyone.

I was wondering if anyone could give me any information regarding
"piping". I've seen it in pillows in its final form, but im not exactly sure where to find it. Do i have to go to a specialty store or will walmart carry it?
Also, has anyone done a project with piping? I would love to see the outcome as i could get a better idea of how and where its used.

Im new to the sewing scene.

Thanks guys

3  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Clutter is stealing my craftiness on: April 24, 2007 12:14:53 PM
I just recently re-vamped my craft room and i have a question regarding storing fabrics.

I have a fairly small room to play around in and there are a lot of large pieces furniture and equipment that i want to keep in the room so i have even less space. I need an idea for storing my fabrics.

The closet in the room is full to the max, so i cannot store anything else in there.  I dont have anymore room for large storing units.

Its super frustrating, because the clutter, is stealing my craftiness

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Pentagram Tote - First Post!---Suggestions on: April 23, 2007 03:19:52 PM
Hey Everyone,  Cheesy

I've been working on this bag for a couple of days now.  Its my first bag attempt, finally finished it today. Im quite please with it, as I fell in love with the color of the fabric. I collaborated all that i had learned on this forum and decided to give it a go.
The result? A pentagram Tote!!! I made the pentagram patch with some odd pieces of fabric i had left over from the bag. The interior is a dark denim color with 2 pockets included.

Just wanted to share it with all of you.

Here are the links..click and wait for 5seconds, and the image will shrink to a viewable size
