Tidying my bead stash I came across a container with old jewellry -rhinestone stuff and odd pink gold earrimgs and cufflinks etc.Cool stuff. But there are abt 20 graduated carved flower beads made of IVORY! I stopped wearing Ivory for obvious reasons abt 30yrs ago and dont even like to wear bone jewellry or coral but what should I do with these?I feel really bad having them and dont know whose beads they were.Dont know if I should just keep them for the kids to find when I pass or what?

I have been given 3 strand haematite and fresh water pearl necklace to repair. How do you get the strands to stay twisted?
Is there a special technique because if I twist it by hand it just untwists and am very frustrated.

hi there .I am going to get some beading stuff from my sister in the US
and would like some input on whether I should get Accuflex/softflex or Beadalon 49 for stringing and Dandyline versus Fireline for seadbead
stitching.I need to know what is the best stuff to get but also must keep an eye on price.Any other ideas are welcome because I am making a shopping list.We dont get this in our neck of the woods in SA.
