Hi every body am hoping somebody can help with this. I am looking for a pattern for a scarf which is like a hat with long side pieces with pocketlike mittens on the end. They are usually made with fleece or Fake Fur and resemble animals and monsters with ears etc.I have Googled every combination I can but cant find a pattern free or for sale.I dont have a pic to show what they look like but have seen a lot of kids wearing them

hi there these are made with seed beads and wire.the larger ones have a frame of thicker wire and seed beads are strung on thinner wire and wound onto the frame.they are sold on the street where I come from.there is no stitching involved and I have not seen patterns on the Web yet so you will have to use your imagination.try and Google wire beaded animals or try South African beaded curios/insects/animals.Good Luck

I will try and explain how I did it.Fold and pinch fabric along seamline-I use my fingernail to make the crease. Then I anchor the thread and bring it up through the crease line-its now on the outside-then I catch the opposite side with a tiny stitch and push the needle down through the foldline then bring it up abt 2mm then catch the opp.side.Its like going from side to side but only the tiny stitch is on the outside the rest is under the fold.I hope it helps.I am not good at explaining stuff

I have a large piece of good quality fleece which I want to edge with satin ribbon.I am experienced with sewiing but it is taking forever to baste the ribbon on before I sew.I have folded the ribbon in half and pressed it.Does anyone have a tip or way to do it faster?I am losing patience fast here.
