I heart them! Cheesy
2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: New Mohair Bear on: August 01, 2007 10:06:36 AM
Wow!
I kneel and worship the machine you sew on.... your bears are amazing! I can't believe that it's possible to "create" these, they look as though they are alive. I have a special fondness for bears like this, my mom had a Stieff when she was little that managed to survive, that I got to play with many years later. He was pretty tattered by then, but I think he started the soft spot in me for special bears like yours!

You and hubby make a great team!
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Playful Planetoid Purse on: July 24, 2007 09:13:14 PM
OMG!!
I love it-I'm actually reading the series now! I just finished the Guide, and have started The Restaraunt at the end of the Universe. My hubby loves the books-he would totally squeak like a little girl if he saw this! I love the crazy fabric pattern...if by some measure of extreme improbability I happen to bump into you on the street someday...don't be mad if I act like a crazed fan and try to steal your awesome purse  Wink

OMG!!!! I love the OZ key  Cheesy Cheesy
I watched that movie so much when I was little, I was convinced that I could go into my front yard and dig up the key too! I like your shells too-great work!
6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: King of the Hill or: Extreme Texas Pride on: June 07, 2007 08:26:12 AM
Wow-that only took you four weeks?? Even if I knew how to embroider they would probably have to put the unfinished piece in my casket when I die because I would never be able to finish that! Wink Really though, I can't believe you covered that whole thing....you are very talented...and very patient!

I love King of the Hill, and I hope your hard work is appreciated every day..with a few laughs for good measure! I'm showing this to my husband when he gets home-he will love it!
7  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: "Hoot-Hoot" An owl inspired piece *Image Heavy* on: June 07, 2007 08:16:39 AM
Wow,...that is impressive. I really like the style of your owl, it reminds me of the motifs that you see a lot of in Pennsylvania-Dutch country...I think some people call them Pow wow designs?
I also agree with everyone else that you did very well with the details and that you probably don't "need" anymore. Great job!
8  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: My Dia de Muerto Skull on: June 07, 2007 08:11:06 AM
Love it...."granny" crafting plus El Dia de Los Muertes? It just doesn't get any better than that!  Wink
9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Silver in my face. on: May 28, 2007 12:55:58 PM
Glad to hear that you do have parties to attend where you can bring out these beauties! When you aren't attending parties though, what about wearing them to a Renaissance festival, or any kind of peasant/hippie gathering? You could probably get a lot of offers at any "new age" or fantasy/gaming type stores if you wanted to sell them.

BTW, I would totally wear the ear piece if I had a nice summery and casual event to go to, and to school, and to the flea market, and my favorite vintage shops..... Wink
10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Painted surrealist wooden pendants. Hooray! on: May 28, 2007 12:43:57 PM
WOW!
I love that you painted warped things on the jewelry pendants! I must agree with everyone else's replies, you are very talented! You could sell those, if the fact that they are scraps and you are saving them from the landfill doesn't entice buyers....then your talent with detail and imagination will!  Wink
