No matter how many times I tried, and where I tried, I couldn't get a decent picture of this.  I'm so sorry.
Looks like all you need to do is turn on your macro settings. Pretty much every camera including basic point-and-shoot ones should have it.

Looks like a little flower:

Macro setting tells your camera to focus on something very close-up. Without being on that setting, your camera can't properly focus to something up-close. Typically, when you turn on macro settings, it will also turn off the flash, so just be sure you have some decent light and try and hold your camera still. The closer in on something you get, the more obvious slight motion blur gets. I do a LOT of macro photography for my jewelry.

Hope that helps! Grin

I received my AMAZING package from edie22 last week. But my pc died. So it's been a lot of fun. I don't have a pc right now so Love and I are sharing his. Makes things...interesting especially since it's Windows 7 and I've never used it before. Plus, I had to get different photo editing software. Hopefully, the pics came out ok. I just really wanted  to show off the amazingness she sent me. Prepare for picture overload!

First off, this is the supply half. Seriously, there is SO MUCH HERE this would have been a breathtaking swap all on it's own! There's about a million headpins, toggles, clasps, wire, Porceline markers (for drawing on ceramics), etc. It's simply amazing.

But no, that's not even close to all. She also sent me a huge batch of handmade items.

There's a messenger bag of pure awesomeness, a reversible apron, a shrug and matching wrist-warmers in the coolest color yarn ever, a Halloween fabric zipper bag, an orange zipper bag, a little mini zipper pouch and keychain to match the messenger bag. Whew!

(Inside of the messenger bag. There's pockets and compartments and very useful sections!)

(This is the other side of the apron. So cool!!)

(A horrible attempt at an action shot to show off the shrug. It's mainly showing off Love's laundry piles but...and YES it fits perfectly!)

(The zipper bags and keychain)

(The wrist warmer - same yarn as the shrug so you can see the amazing colors a little better. Seriously, it has like every color that I like mixed in. That's my fat tabby girl, Mika, in the background. She wouldn't leave the bed when I was taking pics. Grin )

Edie, seriously, I've received some amazing things in swaps before but I'm blown away but the sheer vastness of the amazingness you managed to fit in the box. (Seriously, you guys should have seen the packing job she did, it was highly impressive.) THANK YOU SO MUCH for swapping with me. I can't tell you how much your package made my week. Grin

Please forgive the poor quality. I took these with my cell phone and then emailed them to myself so I could post them. angelofmusic made me a lovely bookmark with a Gaelic quote. There is no luck except where there is discipline.

It's prettier in person with much more vibrant color.

Thank you so much, angelofmusic! Cheesy

I received from phoenixfiredesigns!
she sent super cute birds nest earrings, and a bracelet.

thanks so much, phoenixfiredesigns!
You're welcome! The bracelet is lapis lazuli and obsidian and was directly inspired by the one on your wist. And the bird nest earrings - well, you said you liked nature. Seemed like a fun expression of that. Enjoy! Grin

edit Just realized you might not be able to see the blue and black gemstone chips in your pic so here's a shot I took before I sent:

585  Firebird - Swarovski Crystal Dangle Y Necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by phoenixfiredesigns on: September 03, 2010 08:43:54 PM
This is a custom piece I made and Im so in love with it I wanted to be sure to show it off.

Ive used over thirty genuine Swarovski crystals in a fiery gradient of color as the centerpiece of this necklace. The piece is a traditional Y shape with sterling silver Figaro chain, a large round circle and then a cascade of crystal down the center.

It just sparkles and shines and catches the light like mad. The crystal ranges in color from a pale yellow, into orange, fire opal, topaz, garnet and more.

I plan on making more in various color schemes in the next few days because of how pleased I was with how this one came out. Grin

As always, thoughts and feedback appreciated!

I received a great package from MommyTheMaid! She claimed me twice but sent both together so here's everything.

There are hand knit socks (Yay!), a camiband (I can SO use this!), wire, lobster claw clasps, toggle clasps and assorted toggles. (Always useful!)

Action shot:

Awesome package, MommyTheMaid!! Thanks so much for the claims! Grin Grin

I received from Giddiup222 on Thursday and I was going to post pics on Friday but, I woke up with a blinding migraine and wound up being sick all day. Yesterday I was out of town, so today I finally can post the pics!

She claimed me for a fabric bucket but made me two! One smaller and one larger.

Thank you so much! I have so much crafty crap that's always taking over my living room (because I drag it all out there and bead on the couch watching TV) and I need easily carried places to put it, so this is perfect. Grin

Ok, let's try this again. Embarrassed

I received two bookmarks today!

First from pixiefirefly a neat two-sided, Japanese themed one. It's really cool and I love the details and the crystals on the tassel.

And from lelila a cool metal one with green accents. I love the green because I'm a May baby and emerald is May's birthstone. It's a favorite color of mine!

Thank you so much to both of you! Grin
