Maccha was amused to see the two-story carousel next to the food court in the local mall this evening:

Ok, I finally took an hour to offload the pics from my camera and edit them from last Saturday's trip to Walt Disney World!

We arrived at Disney Hollywood Studios (where they have the Osborne Lights!) and headed back to the "Streets of America" backlot area where the lights are set up.

We stopped to check out probably the only snowman Maccha will see in Florida this season! Cheesy

We arrived before sunset so we got to see what it looks like before the lights come on. It's very different!!

See? It looks quite a bit different after dark! Grin

After spending a couple hours watching (and dancing!) to the lights, we left the Studios and headed over to the Magic Kingdom!

Here's the train station at the entrance. You pass under this to enter the park!

And here is the view from the 2nd floor of the train station looking out down Main Street, USA towards Cinderella Castle. Of course, it's also all done in lights; this time "icicle" ones!

We even got to meet with the main mouse himself, Mickey!

Unfortunately, shortly after we got to Magic Kingdom, Love got sick and we headed home. We'll be back though and get more pics next time.

33  Glow in the Dark Full Moon Tree of Life Pendant in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by phoenixfiredesigns on: December 03, 2014 01:42:27 PM
I have to admit: I love these! The idea of a full moon that glows in the dark just amuses me so much. Cheesy

During the day, it looks just normal blue. But at night...it's like magic! Grin

I haven't had a chance to edit the rest of the photos from our Disney trip Saturday but last night we DID go pick up a Christmas tree!!

We had some difficulty with the stand last night so it's kinda leaning sideways at the moment but we're going to try to shim it up tonight. In the next few days we'll start decorating it and setting up our village as well!

Maccha went to Disney yesterday!!

We went to see the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights.

However, this can only truly be appreciated in video. So may I present two videos? Grin

Dinner was a delicious success! Grin

There was a yummy turkey....

...and homemade mashed potatoes...

...and fixing's! Made for a huge plate of food!

Plus there's tons of leftovers!! Wink

Now it's time to sit on the couch and watch a movie. Whew! Even though it was just Love and I (well and the kitties who bribed us into giving them some turkey), we had a great holiday.

Maccha supervises the turkey prep (you can see how she's checking the recipe) for Thanksgiving dinner today!  Cheesy Turkey is in the oven so in a few hours, we'll be eating. Yum!!

Ok so Saturday of course was my craft show. Sunday Love and I were so sore/tired/beat from the 15 hour day we didn't unpack the car. I had put Maccha in my special wheeled case with other important/fragile things to make sure she made the trip home safely.

Monday was a BEAUTIFUL day; sunny, blue skies - gorgeous. So I thought I'd take the chance to show Maccha around my apartment complex. I got ready, got my camera, went to get her and....realized she was still in the bag in the car! D'oh! So she inadvertently went driving to work with my husband. Monday evening when he gets home, I grab the bag - including Maccha - and bring it inside ready for pics the following day.

Except TUESDAY it pours. Rainy, dreary day. Of course!! But we did get a little break in the nasty weather (before it got WAY worse again in the evening) so we did get at least a little chance to walk around my neighborhood. Even if it was a bit damp and grey out.

Here's one of the MANY palm trees around here:

And Maccha stopped to smell a hibiscus flower:

Then we went to check out the pool. Of course, no one was using it because of the weather.

She tried out a lounge chair:

And made sure to note the safety sign. (Though we're both pretty sure she's short enough that it doesn't really apply to her.)

Tonight, we will be preparing our Thanksgiving turkey in advance of tomorrow's cooking! Yum! And Saturday, we're planning on heading out to Disney! Grin

roler that castle is GORGEOUS! Wow. So pretty!

Just checking in from my phone to say - I'm in Kyoto on a crowded holiday weekend and I've lost track of how many people have told me that Olivia is kawaiiiii!!
Yay!! I'm glad she's having a good time and that everyone's being friendly. Cheesy

Yesterday I had my second show. We did one last Saturday and then another this Saturday. Left the house at 7am and didn't get home until 9pm so it was a loooooong day. Pretty busy too so I didn't get a chance to really walk around and see much of the other vendors, but here's a few pics I snagged from my cell phone:

Here she is making sure everything is in the correct place in the case:

And here's the view from inside the booth looking out:

Sorry this one came out a little blurry. There was a booth not far from me that's a local non-profit organization that provides custom wigs to young girls/women who have lost their hair due to cancer. They had these fun cutouts you could put your face into. So here's one of just Maccha:

And here's one of me and Maccha being silly together:

Funny story, when I came over to take Maccha's picture, of course everyone had a puzzled look on their face and one guy said, "ok, I have to ask..." and I laughed and explained how Maccha was visiting from Japan and that my little visitor was doing the same over there. I told them how LV works and they all loved it! They thought it sounded so fun! Grin We bought some pretty hair ties from them and made a donation for the organization too. Cheesy
