This is TOTALLY AWESOME. I love the addition of the map of Sussex on top...meaningful and creative! I really want a table like this!

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / First attempts--woohoo! on: May 31, 2010 08:10:55 PM
I have been looking forever for funky, cute rings that aren't a billion dollars...to no avail. So, I bought some wire and busted out my button stash and made my own. I'm pretty happy with them, considering it's my first attempt at wire wrapping. They were really fun to make!

The colors are off in all these pics: the greens and oranges are darker than the pic--much more vivid and awesome, in my opinion. The star looks super glittery and a LOT like a big fat diamond ring when you glance at it on my hand. Fun to wear on my left hand to freak out my friends. Good times.

Size reference!

Backs. I like the messy-ish look for these, which I'm claiming as my reason for highly imperfect wire wraps.  Wink

C&C welcome! Thanks for looking at my humble display of awesomeness. Hehehe... Cheesy

Super cute! It really does look sooo comfy, I'd wear it around the house for fun. Smiley I'm sure it will be a hit with your friends--who doesn't love care bears??

As for the hood with the ears... I'd LOVE to make a hood with bear ears. Was it hard to keep them standing up like that?

10  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: A lime : simple project for a beginner on: July 20, 2009 09:42:25 AM
It looks perfectly lime-y to me! I think you should make him a lemon friend, give them both faces, and they can be best friends! Or mortal enemies!! Citrus grudges run deep!
