11  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / felted crocheted cloche/flapper hat on: November 21, 2008 02:08:51 PM
this is my 1st hat and crocheting by a pattern,,,and 1st felting project,,i will have to make more of these! :)the rim is a little longer on one side, i guess i went over my round,,, but it i know cloche hats are like that ,,,,,,,,,,i used a one of my aunts orange flower pin

i bought a lot of cool printed t-shirts and most are too small, does anyone have any ideas of how i can make these larger to fit me? i have thought of cutting down the sides and with some wider strips of contrasting fabric, sew those on,,like a big vertical stripe on both sides. if anyone knows a link on here of any pics that someone else has done similar,, let me know thanks

i would like to make one of those pin up girl one piece bathing suits with the fitted skirt front,,,,,,,,i have a vintage pattern for a one piece, i wondered if anyone could help explain how to alter the front bottom of my pattern and where and how to connect the crotch to the skirt front,,,,,,,,,,,,,,at least that is the way some photos  look like to me,,,,,,,,,,like there really isn't a regular front piece under the skirt,,,,,,,,i hope i explained it good enough, any opinions will help,,,thanks
