1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: i made a crazy frog papercraft model from :the world ends with you" on: May 18, 2008 02:28:21 PM
thanks everybody

you should do one of the crabs next!
Oh yeah, awesome job!

I think the most I will do is recolor the frog to match a few different versions of him. i have lots of projects going on I did this one as mostly a gift to myself.

i do love the crab noise but If i were to do another one it would have to be the pig noise first, so cute!

Check out this frog papercraft I made. Its a creature from the DS game "The World Ends With You" as you can tell from the paper craft shown here the game has a really crazy style, one that just begged me to capture it in a paper craft sculpture.

questions? comments?

markers are a tricky medium. you see to produce superfine quality work with them you almost have to be using the best markers out there, however you really don't know if markers are for you until you have gotten some time with them.

honestly i would buy some quality marker paper and then just use Crayola markers and buy a copic blender, you will find that on real maker paper markers behave totally differently then on a normal absorbent paper. the blinder can be one of the most important elements of making art with makers.

if you like the way those work then invest in a set of copic markers, they have very nice nibs that can be replaced and exchanged with a wide verity of nib styles, you can also buy ink to refill the markers saving you a whole lot on money in the long run, also copic markers have an airbrush attachment that can be used to very good effect.

if you could be more specific about the plastic and the paint I'm sure someone could help you, a safe bet is to use an artist spray sealer.
