This is fantastic I was planning on making my boyfriend a 'chuck norris' shirt with his picture on the front and a list of some of the great quips on the back ( i saw one somewhere). And jayne, I had to go visit the Alton Brown site, it was fantastic!! I would use him for a super hero theme He is my favorite food guy ever. How can it not be great mixing eating food, cooking food, and molecular biology diagrams done in styrofoam!
I am not one of the WOWers spamming the jokes in the barrens LOL, but I do write them down....just totally cracks me up
Also, violentjayne, if you see this my boyfriend LOVES your name... I have probably mentioned this in another reply posting, but he saw it again just now and wants me to let you know (and he says woot woot...)
everyone's pets are so adorable! I totally understand the issue with the farrets, too. I have two bunnys and people who go to adopt them, or buy them in a pet store, usually don't understand their needs. They get grouped in with guinea pigs and hampsters, but they have completely different lifestyles. For example, they can't have cedar chip or clumping litter, they shouldn't have most store-bought treats sold for bunnys or even most 'rabbit food' pellets- those actually are made for stock show bunnys who need to gain wait You just have to understand how to take care of each pet, right
Anyways...i am still deciding if i should sign up!! I have only done one swap...but I have (some) time now and internet! we shall see
I love the minis! Everything is cooler when you make it tiny, lol. I love flan, too! But I can't eat it, unless I want to get sick Has anyone ever seen the movie Envy, with Jack Black and Ben Stiller? There is a part in it about flan and the rich family having it and the other not....now I can't see flan without thinking about the movie It is super funny-- you should make and eat the tiny flan while you watch it
That sounds like tons of fun Good idea, I would never even have thought of it! The only idea I had was something along the lines of a "+ something" ... for example cups with stenciled +2 healing or something like that....I guess I don't know exactly, but something utilizing the fun + bonus idea. How about hot sauce with + 2 fire resist (although that might be opposite...) Anyways, I'm sure my help was not very helpful, but you probably get the idea I am going to keep thinking about this though!
I received Heini's package on Thursday and I am finally posting pictures!! She is so awesome! I LOVE my presents! First, she gave me this ADORABLE amigurumi chili pepper. (I had wisted some amigurumi veggies)
I like that I sometimes have a 'convenience' answer of packaged food...I had found some vegan frosting, which must have been the one someone already listed. Especially if I have to make something for the first time...a lot of things I make from scratch do not turn out so well!
This is slightly off topic, but the awesome blog, www.veganlunchbox.com has a frosting recipe or two, plus she tells you how to make vegan twinkies and twinkie cream! And more amazing than that....they are SO good- it has been over ten years since I had a twinkie, but I remember not liking them, these are so good, and she likes to point out that while things aren't healthy sometimes, it is good to show people, especially kids being raised vegan, it isn't always about deprivation like some people think, you can have 'normal' little kid treats I really like that about her foods. Fast version of my story: make twinkies, eat twinkies, be vegan, be happy
just my two cents, heh, but I am going to try those posted recipes!
Enbal, your goodies are awesome! I love the bookmark! I might have to use your idea in some form, tigercub-wabbit....I wonder if you can 'lump' shrinky drinks? Make them bumby on the surface? I love craftster.....Awesome job guys, this is so fun!
These are so cool! I have been inspired by all the craftsters here to go try some shrinky dink fun The California one is cool.....however, I really don't think I will be making one of my homestate, Colorado.... "ooo wow Suri, that's a very pretty, uh, square you have on...:
Suriah - Those bunnies are so cute! I would love to have a rabbit (especially an Angora) but my brother is allergic. I've never heard of anyone having an allergy to bunnies before, and I don't know if it's that common. Oh, well. Someday I hope to get some (and goats, and sheep, and more cats... )
Lol thanks! My father always swore he was allergic to my bunnies when I was living with the parentals; oddly enough, he never seemed to have symptoms when I let them run all around his desk, his BED, etc......when he didn't know. Symptoms only showed up when he knew The cool thing is my boyfriend is allergic to cats, horses, and a million other things-but no problems with bunnies (he spent a LOT of time checking first) only problem is with the alfalfa so we keep that well sealed up.
Walshwalsh- I have never done ANY spinning at all, ever, but are you able to spin the short hairs? I certainly would be interested!
